This week at hope fields
We had an amazing time at our recent gathering, celebrating creativity and having fun! The Halloween cookies became delightful treats that truly showcased our artistic flair, while the vibrant plaster of Paris shapes were painted with love and imagination. Our rope skills session unearthed some impressive talents among our members, making it thrilling to see everyone's Lego cars zooming around the room. To top off our day of activities, we enjoyed delicious pancakes that made for a perfect snack. Every moment was filled with laughter and joy! A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our fantastic volunteers for your invaluable support!

This week at Hope Fields, we were delighted to welcome yet another enthusiastic volunteer into our community. We took advantage of the beautiful weather to explore the various changes of autumn, marveling at the vibrant colours and crisp air, and we even started our preparations for the spookiest time of year, Halloween! After enjoying delicious fruit and pizza as a tasty snack, we dove into building lots of amazing creations out of Lego. During our exciting construction activities with the Lego, we crafted some wonderful Halloween decorations to add a festive touch to our space. All the kids had loads of fun jumping on the colourful leaves, relishing the feeling of autumn beneath their feet. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of our generous donors and a massive thank you to all our amazing volunteers who make our activities possible!
Fun in the sun
This week at Hope Fields, we had an absolutely fantastic time engaging in a delightful variety of exciting games, building intricate and wonderfully detailed Lego trains, and enjoying lots of delicious and yummy food together. It was truly a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends old and new, share lots of laughter, and unleash our creativity in a warm and welcoming environment! A heartfelt thank you goes out to all our new volunteers, and as always, a huge thank you to all our gracious donors. Without their generous support, we wouldn’t be where we are right now, and we deeply appreciate each and every one of them.
Hot dogs for everyone
This week’s club at the 1st Jaywick Scouts group community was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed an incredible variety of activities, including lots of gaming with the exciting VR headsets and engaging in Minecraft adventures. The kids had a blast playing outside and participating in fun races, and there was some lovely colouring happening as well. The sand art station was particularly popular, with many creative masterpieces being made. As we munched on tasty snacks, our impressive @Lego train track stretched the entire length of the hall, delighting everyone. A massive thank you goes out to our dedicated volunteer.

Our dedicated volunteers at HopeFields are now sporting vibrant, custom-made t-shirts that reflect the spirit of our community initiatives. Each shirt showcases our logo and a cheerful design that encapsulates the essence of the clubs we offer at Hope Fields. These t-shirts not only provide a sense of unity among our volunteers but also help to raise awareness about the activities we provide to local residents. When you see our volunteers out in the community, you'll know they’re a friendly face ready to welcome anyone interested in joining our gaming, Lego, or art clubs.
Teen’s to twenties battle it out
It all begins with an idea.
Hope Fields collaborated with teens to twenties club from Brightlingsea , where individuals enjoyed an evening filled with gaming and socialising. With a welcoming environment and the support of dedicated volunteers, participants felt encouraged to connect with one another while exploring a variety of gaming activities such as gorilla tag on the VR, Minecraft on the Xbox and Mario kart on the Nintendo switch. The event fostered friendships and community spirit, allowing attendees to share their interests and have fun together. By providing a safe and engaging space for these young people, Hope Fields helped create lasting memories and valuable social connections that will benefit them in the future.
Lego fun for everone

On a sunny Thursday Hope Fields clubs helped our friends at Brightlingsea Lego church at the recent Lego Stay and Play event. Families came together to explore their creativity, building intricate structures while enjoying the company of others in the community. Our dedicated volunteers supplied popcorn and candyfloss as a treat for the kids, Lego church helps children and adults alike with exciting challenges and collaborative projects. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and fun as participants showcased their unique creations. This heartfelt collaboration not only provided endless fun but also strengthened the bonds within the community, demonstrating how Hope fields clubs continue to bring joy and creativity to those around us.
New home same fun
It all begins with an idea.
Our first week back after the summer holidays and the kids all had an amazing time! They enjoyed making sand art pictures, colouring, building a Lego train track, playing outside, some gorilla tag on the vr and some Minecraft on the computer amongst other things. All the kids had a snack and it was smiles all round, thankyou so much to 1st Jaywick Scout Group Community for the use of their hall, the bigger space has helped tremendously. An even bigger thankyou to The National Lottery Community Fund who gave us the funds to make all of this possible if it wasn't for them we would not be where we are now.
